ABOUT SIMPSON
Austin Simpson is a district-born, district-raised supporter of Webb City R7. His family's commitment to the Webb City community is apparent in his continuation as the 3rd generation of the family funeral home, Simpson Funeral Home, in operation since the late 1880's. As a household name within our community, Austin takes seriously the legacy and responsibility of supporting the community through some of life's most difficult moments. His deep roots within the district have allowed him to foster relationships with both the parents and voters within the district, and the faculty and staff of the district. His desire to better the school system stems from decades of direct and indirect involvement and support in the district.

By prioritizing collaboration and innovation, with regard to the basics in education that have stood the test of time, Austin aims to ensure that the Webb City R-7 School District becomes a model across the State of Missouri for its commitment to the basics: instruction of students to meet the demands of the world, with the skills to successfully and responsibly contribute to it.
